Description

Is used to provide a continuous record of the intensity of the sun & sky radiation. Two black Bi-metallic strips & two white strips are attached to a common coupling. The white Bi-metallic strips reflect the radiation from the sun, black bi-metallic strip observe it. So the temperature of the black Bi-metallic strips rise & they bend. The intensity & solar radiation from the difference of this deflection on each Bi-metallic strip. The glass hemisphere which covers the Bi-metallic sensors will transmit about 90c of the wave length of electromagnetic energy between 0-36 and 2.0 microns. The instruments is complete self contained and requires no external power.
