Description

For measuring earths temperature at depths from surface down to 1m. it has the advantage that reading can be taken without disturbing the thermometer. Thermometer is mercury in glass with its stem bent at 30 just below the scale. The lower portion is placed vertically in the earth with bulb at the required depth.
