To determine the upper fixed point of thermometers and boiling points at barometer pressure. Comprises an upper boiling vessel with a steam jacked inner tube. A lid with a tubular projection is provided which hold the thermometer in a rubber bung. A side outlet draining tube and a glass manometric tube mounted in a tubular with bung.
