Description

For use with an overhead projector to demonstrate the nature of chemical changes that occur with the electrolysis of aqueous solutions. Consists of a rectangular clear plastics container with two removable carbon electrodes, each fitted with 4mm sockets. A 6V, 0.03A M.E.S. lamp with flying leads and plug is fitted on the extension on one side of the cell. The cell can be divided by a separator that permits flow of the current but mechanically separates the products of electrolysis.
